What are the Causes of Female Infertility?



Infertility means couples are not able to achieve a pregnancy to have a child. It means inability to get pregnant. About 15% of the population affected by the infertility problem that is very serious problem in society.

It is seen that about 1/3 of the infertility is due the female infertility problem and 1/3 of the problem is due to male infertility. And in remaining cases, the problem is due to the participation of both partners. In some cases, the problem is unknown and it is called as unexplained infertility.

Female infertility is the inability of conceiving a child. In this female is not able to achieve a successful pregnancy due to some reasons. Sometimes due to accident uterus has been surgically removed from the woman’s body. Due to some problem like cyst, or some other which affects the uterus, there is only one solution left to remove the uterus. 

Causes of Female Infertility:

1.       Fallopian Tube Damage or Blockage. This tube is required and functions for carrying the eggs from the ovaries to the uterus. If it gets failed then it resists the sperms to make in contact with eggs, which is required for fertilization.
2.       Ovulation Problem. Due to imbalanced hormones some women do not have irregular periods which prevent her to reproduce. That’s why fertilization does not take place. This type of problem can predict by some female infertility tests like ovulation predictor kits, and blood tests.
3.       Cervical Causes. Cervical is very common problem that many women suffer. But do you know it can cause serious problem of infertility. It prevents the sperms to pass through the small cervical canal.
4.       Uterus Problem.
5.       Unexplained Infertility.
6.       Endocrine Causes.
7.       Poor quality Eggs.
